Story Time at Old Town Hall

The Plymouth History Center is set to hold a Story Time series 10-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, July 8 through Aug. 26 at Plymouth Old Town Hall, 3605 Fernbrook Lane N.

Geared toward families with elementary-age children, the free weekly events are designed to engage younger audiences and spark interest in learning about history. Each week will feature a historical topic, followed by a hands-on activity tied to the week’s theme.

Story Time topics include the history of the Fourth of July, farming, railroads, the Dakota and Ojibwe people, prairies, Lewis and Clark and more.

“History is all about storytelling and passing down insights to future generations,” said Plymouth Historical Site Coordinator Ryan Barland. “With the reopening of Old Town Hall, we are excited to use the space to share information about Plymouth’s past in a fun and interactive setting.”

The events are free and open to the public; registration is not required.
