Beaches, Bands and Brews

The City of Plymouth is set to wrap up the free Summer Beach Series with the Beaches, Bands & Brews event 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at East Medicine Lake Park, 1740 East Medicine Lake Blvd. 

The community is invited to spend an evening at the beach, playing yard games and enjoying live music by Debbie Briggs (band also includes: Tim Kirchhof, Matt Peterson, Alissa Jacobsen, and Tim Zhorne) known for their for toe-tapping timeless sounds of Americana, classic country, western swing and blues. 

Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event from the following:

  • El Jefe - serving "American" classics such as burgers, buffalo chicken wraps, & Philly steak sandwiches
  • Kumain - serving Filipino cuisine
  • La Cocina - serving tacos and more
  • Soft Serve Social - ice cream 

Food vendors are subject to change. Attendees should bring cash/credit for food and beverage purchases, as well as blankets or lawn chairs for seating. 

Parking and More Information

Parking at East Medicine Lake Park is limited. Attendees may also park at nearby West Medicine Lake Park, 1920 West Medicine Lake Drive. The parks are connected by a 2-mile path for walkers or bikers, and signage will be posted to guide attendees to the event. Bike racks are available at East Medicine Lake Park.
