  • Location: Parkers Lake Cemetery
    1700 Niagara Lane N.

The Plymouth History Center invites the public to step into the past during guided cemetery tours this fall at Parkers Lake Cemetery, 1700 Niagara Lane N.

During the tours, participants will spend the evening walking among tombstones while knowledgeable tour guides relay stories, facts and other information about the cemetery’s history and the people buried at the site.

Tours are set for 5-7 p.m. on the following Thursdays:

  • Oct. 30

“Parkers Lake Cemetery is the final resting place for nearly 900 Plymouth settlers and pioneers, all with unique stories,” said Historical Site Coordinator Ryan Barland. “We look forward to hosting this reflective and educational experience to share those stories with the community and elaborate on Plymouth’s heritage.”

Founded in 1871 on land that had belonged to the Parker family, the Parkers Lake Cemetery became a municipal cemetery in 1973 and continues to be maintained by the City of Plymouth.

Cemetery tours are free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.
