The City of Plymouth presents a free performance by the Plymouth Rockers 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 in the Millennium Garden at the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating in the garden.

Since 1991, the Plymouth Rockers group has entertained various Twin Cities audiences. The group is comprised of more than 65 men and women, ages 55 or older, from 15 cities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The group covers many genres of music, including patriotic, sacred, gospel, jazz standards, ‘70s pop and show tunes. The group is sponsored by the City of Plymouth and supported by Metropolitan Regional Arts Council grants.

A popular site for weddings and special events, the Millennium Garden features a variety of plantings, trails, walkways, fountains, a labyrinth and open space located on the grounds of the Plymouth Community Center.
