PLYMOUTH, MA- 300+ Police Officers Picket Deval Patrick's Visit to AFL/ CIO Conference (02-04-10)

Over 300 members of the Boston Police Patrolmens Association, along with members of MASSCOP and other union, picketed the entrance of the Radisson Hotel on Water Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts Thursday (02-04-10) afternoon where Governor Patrick was scheduled to attend a State of the Union conference being held by the Massachusetts AFL/ CIO. Policemen from as far away as Chicopee , Massachusetts attended the informational picket. Governor Patrick did not end up attending the event. Union leader and members at the picket voiced their displeasure with the Governors stance on the Quinn Bill, civilian flaggers, pension reform and other issues.
